Digital Designer - Marketing

About the role

As a Digital Designer at Smarkets you’ll be working in our Marketing team and be responsible for creating dynamic eye-catching content for a wide variety of marketing collateral.

As a key part of the marketing team you will work on pushing the brand out to an ever growing audience of sports bettors across the globe. Working closely with the team to build exciting social media posts, bespoke and timely email campaigns or cutting edge landing pages to engage a variety of users.

Whether it's boosting our customer acquisition, optimising our marketing activities for our growth in the UK, US and Sweden, or coming up with a creative new idea with your team, you’ll be able to see the impact of your work at Smarkets.

About you

  • 2-5 years commercial experience in digital design, ideally gained within a marketing team at a tech-forward, product-driven company.
  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Graphics Design or a similar field
  • Familiar with After Effects, creating motion ads for social channels like Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
  • Good visual design skills with an eye for quality typography, illustration, iconography.
  • You know your way around a design tool or two. We use tools like Sketch for rapid prototyping as well as Adobe Creative Suite.
  • You care about collaborating and you're comfortable discussing the rationale for your design decisions with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • You’re comfortable with technologies like HTML, CSS, modern email design techniques, and have experience with creating digital banner ads. It would be advantageous if you know how to use DotDigital or have experience with similar services.
  • Experience creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and sitemaps.
