Verisign enables the security, stability, and resiliency of key internet infrastructure and services, including providing root zone maintainer services, operating two of the 13 global internet root servers, and providing registration services and authoritative resolution for the .com and .net top-level domains, which support the majority of global e-commerce.

Verisign is seeking a Digital Marketing and Media Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing integrated marketing programs across Latin America, including the key markets of Mexico and Brazil, to drive market preference and demand for the domain names and related products that Verisign manages.  This position supports and drives the development and execution of all aspects of a go-to-market strategy, including industry leading creative and media strategies to support global marketing programs. This role is also responsible for measuring the effectiveness of executed programs and reporting on program performance. 

Responsibilities

  • Design global marketing programs and campaigns for identified regional markets and manage tactical implementation and execution
  • Leverage product positioning to develop marketing strategies and messaging that articulate the value propositions and differentiate our products from competitors and alternative solutions
  • Drive advertising planning and media buying strategy across all paid channels including SEM, social media (paid/organic), display advertising, out-of-home, etc.
  • Manage and execute on paid social media advertising and Google advertising strategies
  • Measure campaign performance to report on the effectiveness of global and product marketing programs with a focus on continuous improvement year-over year
  • Build highly functional relationships with cross-functional teams and agency partners to ensure clear communications and effective project delivery

Requirements

  • 5+ years related experience in digital marketing with a focus on paid advertising
  • 3+ years’ experience creating and executing successful direct marketing campaigns, preferably in Latin America
  • Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience working with cross-functional teams as well as on-ground agencies for whom English may not be the first language
  • Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills; resourceful with high attention to detail
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products (Project, Excel, Word)
  • 4 Year Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in marketing or business-related field
