The role

You’ll be joining the Marketing team as a Digital Marketing Executive. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you’ll be a part of a fast-growing business that is challenging the market and doing things differently.

We’re looking for someone to jump right in and join our small but mighty marketing team by supporting all things digital. You’ll be our go-to for executing the digital marketing behind ClearBank – from paid social media activity, PPC, email marketing, to website tracking and support with CRM. You’ll genuinely be interested in digital customer experience and want (almost need) to continually evolve our digital presence. Keep in mind that you’ll be helping to take our limited existing digital activity to a whole new level, with the support of the wider Marketing team and our agency partners.

What you’ll do

  • Working closely with Marketing leadership, you’ll be responsible for supporting on the digital marketing strategy across our digital channels
  • Implement demand generation programmes in conjunction with the Marketing team to build a steady flow of MQLs at the top of the funnel
  • Manage paid social campaigns (especially through LinkedIn), working closely with the wider Marketing team on content and design
  • Support on website tracking and enhancements to drive increased traffic – especially through PPC, organic and paid search
  • You’ll be using HubSpot and Salesforce to create, test and launch single and multi-step email campaigns and create gated landing pages
  • Working closely with the Events & Sponsorship Manager to enhance our event marketing experience including creation of emails, workflows and landing pages to deliver better event outcomes
  • You’ll be working with people across the business, including Client Management, to find ways we can digitally build connections and raise brand awareness with prospective and existing clients
  • Regularly report on our digital activity, including (but not limited to) our website traffic, lead generation, social media activity, emails/newsletters, and specific campaign tracking
  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager and external digital agencies to help manage our digital presence

A bit about you

  • Previous work experience in a similar role in a dynamic and fast-paced professional environment (B2B preferable)
  • Stellar verbal and written communication skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to execute PPC, display and paid social, with SEO experience a plus
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS for email marketing, forms and landing pages
  • Experience (or excited to learn) HubSpot and Salesforce an advantage
  • Experience in measuring and reporting against digital activity – with a willingness to test and learn (and test again 👀) how we maximise our LinkedIn activities
  • You have a passion for customer experience and love getting stuck into the details of the end-to-end online customer journey
  • You’ll have a keen interest in keeping up to date with the latest digital trends and best practices
  • You have a data-driven passion to know the ins and outs of what makes our (new) website run, and a genuine interest in how we can keep improving
  • Comfortable engaging with external digital agencies
  • Ability to work autonomously and make decisions with some oversight
  • Google Ads and Google Analytics certification a plus
