Job Description

The Digital Marketing Manager - User Research is to play a key role in developing and executing digital marketing strategies and user acquisition campaigns for ZAM’s agency clients. They will be responsible for the coordination, development, implementation, and reporting of user research campaigns across a number of platforms, collaborating closely with our user research partners. The role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams and counterparts to develop quotations, to plan and to execute a variety of research projects including surveys, response acquisition, focus groups, interviews, playtests and more.

Salary: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 Annually  

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Building digital marketing and user research solutions for our partners and clients
  • Project management and daily communications with our clients, including Tencent’s Market and User Research team
  • Coordinating with research participants, moderators, hosts and more to facilitate various research projects
  • Manage paid media campaign strategy and execution for all user acquisition and digital marketing campaigns
  • Identifies trends and insights in order to optimize budgets and performance
  • Measures and reports performance of all user acquisition and research campaigns to clients and assesses against goals and key performance indicators
  • Creating financial models based on previous campaign data to develop accurate pricing quotations and estimations for our clients
  • Communications and scheduling with end-users regarding interviews, rewards, focus groups discussions and other user research requirements and opportunities
  • Collaborates with internal and external teams on creating assets for user research campaigns

Qualifications

  • Fluent in Mandarin (Written and Spoken)
  • BA/BS from an accredited university in Marketing or related discipline
  • Experience running successful paid media campaigns and surveys
  • Ad manager expertise (Facebook, Google, Twitter etc.)
  • Survey platform experience (Survey Monkey, Question Pro, Alchemer etc.)
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, vlookup)
  • Capable of managing multiple projects, campaigns and budgets
  • Deep understanding of the video game industry
