Overview

As the Digital Producer (Product Manager) for Casper’s website in international markets, you'll be a key contributor on a fast-moving cross-functional team spanning tech, design, marketing, data and other groups. The team’s aspiration is to deliver the best shopping experience on the Internet.

We’re looking for someone who is keen to:

  • ensure international customers have a delightful experience
  • sustain or enhance the Casper brand in every customer interaction
  • continually improve the metrics for the website and the company
  • provide thought leadership on how to balance local and global needs for the website

Requirements

  • Willing to travel
    • based in NYC
    • flexible working hours to bridge the gap between US and overseas time zones
    • regular travel between US and other locations (1+ week(s)/month)
  • Solid e-commerce background
    • experienced producer or product manager focused on e-commerce for international markets with >$100M in annual revenue
    • proven experience in internationalization and localization
    • familiar with online marketing, payment methods, translation solutions and logistics for different markets
    • culturally diverse background - ideally you speak more than one language, have lived in multiple countries and are highly aware of how consumers and employee relationships differ across regions
    • high degree of empathy and understanding for how customers think, behave and feel online, particularly when visiting an online retail website
    • keen sense for what value propositions and content will resonate with consumers
    • knowledgeable about what optimization levers yield best results
    • good understanding of how HTML/CSS/JS and other web technologies are used
  • Passionate about user experience and technology development
    • inspired by how fun moments, and imagery and clever copy, can impact a website
    • detail oriented with good design sensibility for layouts, interactions, copy, and styling
    • mobile-first disposition
    • appreciation for user research and user testing
    • deep knowledge of agile development
  • Quality and execution oriented
    • huge pride in doing great work and making progress quickly
    • able to synthesize goals from a variety of stakeholders, communicate them clearly and achieve focus
    • highly collaborative with good instincts on when to lead or defer
    • talent for anticipating effort level and risks on design and engineering tasks

    • up to date knowledge of best-in-class website performance (page load, weight etc.)
