The Director for Customer Success is responsible for leading a team that is in charge of owning and driving the adoption and success of HireVue for our customers. This role includes leading a team of Customer Success Directors including hiring and onboarding, support for customer escalations & renewals negotiation, thought leadership and out of the box thinking to drive value and increase adoption for our customers, strong people management skills, strong collaborative skills for both internal and external team alignment, and a passion for delighting our customers.

Responsibilities:

Drive Customer Success Outcomes with your team

  • Increase renewal rates and reduce churn
  • Work with Sales to expand our revenue in accounts through cross-sell and up-sell
  • Influence future lifetime value through higher product adoption, customer satisfaction and overall health
  • Standardize activities for CSDs for each point in journey
  • Review and enhance segmentation of customer base regularly
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Learn from best practices in industry
  • Onboarding
  • Training
  • Renewals
  • Cross-sell / Up-sell
  • Advocacy

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in leading a team in a customer-facing, SaaS organization
  • Experience in HR space, preferably talent acquisition and the technologies which support it
  • Ability to manage influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus building
  • Ideally combined background of post-sale and sales experience
  • Strong empathy for customers AND passion for revenue and growth
  • Deep understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models
  • Analytical and process-oriented mindset
  • Demonstrated desire for continuous learning and improvement
  • Enthusiastic and creative leader with the ability to inspire others
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree; preference for computer science or related degrees
