Primary Job Description:

The Whistle Sports Business Development team is responsible for developing content-driven deals expanding our reach and generating new revenues for Whistle Sports and our community partners.  The team develops new long form and short form content / programming solutions, licenses Whistle Original content, and builds and distributes new programming services with US and international MVPD and digital distribution partners.

  • Identify, evaluate and prioritize new opportunities
  • Develop proposals collaborating with appropriate teams:  Programming /Content/Production, Community, Sales, Marketing, Social, Legal, Finance
  • Negotiate and close deals
  • Scope operational requirements to deliver on all aspects of partnership and support future success
  • Manage partner relationships with an eye toward renewal / expansion of opportunities

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • B.A. degree with M.B.A. preferred
  • 6+ years experience in Business Development in consumer media / digital media
  • Market expert in digital video distribution, advertising and licensing business models and media metrics
  • Proven track record of closing new revenue generating deals and building busines partnerships
  • Strong relationship management and communication skills
