About the Role: 

We are looking for a strategic, results-obsessed Director of Demand Generation. This role will be responsible for leading a high-impact team of demand generation marketers to design, execute, and measure a global demand generation strategy to drive growth, net new pipeline, and conversion across target industries and regions. You will look for opportunities to scale efficiently and improve ROI with integrated campaign efforts, improving efficiency of program execution, both in terms of internal processes and channel optimization, including identifying and testing new channels to fuel growth across our target audiences.

In this highly collaborative role, you will partner closely with colleagues across Marketing and Sales, developing and implementing a buyer-centric demand generation program across all funnel stages to attract, engage, and convert new prospects into qualified sales opportunities. You will also work cross-functionally to map the buyer journey from lead to opportunity, with a view to buying committee persona needs, triggers, and value propositions, as well as target industry nuance, for more effective campaigns.

Who You Are:

  • 10+ years of demand generation experience in high-growth B2B SaaS and technology (experience in market and competitive intelligence or financial services a strong plus)
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience leading, coaching, developing, and growing highly successful teams across multiple regions
  • Deep understanding of marketing funnel tactics and metrics by stage, and a proven history of improving funnel conversion
  • Demonstrated experience working with and across key marketing functions to ensure holistic campaign assembly - Product and Solution Marketing, Customer Marketing, Field Marketing, Digital Marketing, Marketing Ops, Content Marketing, etc.
  • Expert understanding of partnering with sales, especially inbound DGR/SDR teams, to create, refine, and measure campaign performance
  • Strong communication skills and demonstrated success building relationships with large global sales organizations
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with marketing and sales automation tools, including Marketo, Salesforce, and Outreach (significant Marketo experience required)
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment and run multiple concurrent project demands within established timelines
  • Passion for results, measurement, and optimization to continuously drive ROI

What You’ll Do: 

  • Develop an integrated campaign strategy that leverages cross-channel tactics and identifies targeted segments for personalized acquisition, nurturing, and engagement, accelerating cycle times and improving conversion rates across the funnel
  • Work with Content, Segment, and Product Marketing teams on a thematic campaign roadmap and calendar that addresses each stage of the buyer's journey in collaboration with key stakeholders across marketing and sales
  • Build and execute on targeted, personalized, multi-touch global and regional-specific campaigns across our key segments, aligned to marketing and business goals, that drive measurable pipeline and revenue
  • Set program goals that help us reach our team-owned targets and deliver efficient ROI
  • Manage campaign planning, budgeting, reporting, and priorities; recommend and implement process, workflow, and campaign changes
  • Partner with Marketing Operations to manage dashboards and report on all relevant metrics, including pipeline, bookings, conversions, volumes, velocity, and attribution, evaluate the impact of strategies and campaigns, make data-driven adjustments, and share insights with the team
  • Lead and mentor members of the Demand Generation team to help them develop skills and achieve results. Hire new team members as we grow
  • Regularly work with partners and vendors to build relationships, negotiate contracts, improve results, and evaluate opportunities
  • Partner with Customer Marketing and Partner Marketing to drive a bigger impact from all campaign efforts, including partner, upsell, and expansion campaigns
  • Partner with Sales and align on metrics and ideal customer attributes to ensure Demand Generation programs deliver relevant, high-quality opportunities

Base Compensation Range*:  $177,000 - $196,000  

Additional Components: You may also be offered a performance-based bonus, equity, and a generous benefits program.

*For base compensation, we set standard ranges for all US-based roles based on function, level and geographic location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies and internal comparables. In order to be compliant with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including geographic location as well as candidate experience/expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
