Director, Global Partner Marketing (Alliances/Ecosystem/Channel)

What you will do

Alliances, Ecosystem & Channel partners are a strategic element of our growth and scale at Sysdig. The partner landscape includes a variety of partner types, including cloud services partners, global system integrators, independent software vendors and resellers and distributors. In this role, you will:

  • Architect, build and manage the demand generation structure for our marketing engagements with alliances, ecosystem partners and the channel partner program.
  • Lead the development of an overarching marketing demand gen plan with partners, aligned with the company’s strategy and pipeline growth targets. This would include creative development, outbound components of partner launch engagement and optimization of partner marketing programs while collaborating cross-functionally within marketing and with the cloud/channel sales teams.
  • Drive the marketing relationship, process, and productivity for demand generation with alliance and ecosystem partners to deliver high-impact programs that lead to new customer acquisition.
  • Establish and manage the ongoing communications vehicles that market to the partner community about Sysdig’s channel program.
  • Create partner welcome packages, self-serve campaigns, engagement programs to onboard, excite, and gain mindshare with new partners of various types.
  • Where needed, engage in partner marketing operations (social, events, campaigns) to connect programs to lead management and maximize outcomes.
  • Provide a monthly roll-up of progress and effectiveness of joint marketing campaigns to determine ROI and prioritize resources. Engage in partner QBRs and marketing cadence sessions.
  • Initially, this is a role will focus on alliances co-marketing and channel “to” marketing with the expectation of building a team.

What you will bring with you

  • Willingness to dive in and be hands-on with cloud/channel sales, field sales, BDRs, and across marketing to deliver growth in new business pipeline.
  • Creative writing and content creation experience by working alongside PMM, Channel Sales and Demand Gen teams.
  • In-depth understanding of marketing automation, marketing funnel, partner/channel processes, demand marketing and data management.
  • Extensive experience in lead and pipeline analysis, leading to on-target forecasting for quarterly and annual marketing activities.
  • Ability to use good judgment and know how to guide your team to create solid business justification for program investments.
  • Solid balance of capabilities in planning and innovation with execution and process.
  • Previous experience in partner and demand generation marketing roles, preferably both.
  • Proficiency with SFDC, Marketo, Demandbase and various partner portal tools.
  • Ability to travel (when safe).

What we look for

  • 12+ years of B2B partner marketing experience, preferably in a SaaS or security.
  • 5+ years as a first line manager, having coached and inspired a team of partner marketers.
  • Bachelor or Master level degree in marketing, communications, or business administration.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with traditional and modern digital marketing techniques.
  • Proven success in advising partners on their marketing mix.
  • Intellectual curiosity and interest in running experiments, learning fast and optimizing.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to use data to prioritize and make decisions.
  • Exceptional collaboration, relationship and verbal/written communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
