International Business Development Department

Vantage has significantly expanded its business outside of North America into Europe. As we continue this expansion, the Business Development department is responsible for outlining the business and market strategy for new markets and securing the land to enable the entrance into these markets.

Position Overview

Vantage is seeking a Director, International Business Development to help lead, define, and implement strategies to support Vantage’s expansion into new and existing markets.  Evaluating market opportunities and communicating the strategy to the executive team in a scalable way is critical to the growth of Vantage. In this role, you will work with a cross-functional team including Sales and Real Estate to gather the necessary intelligence and correlate this information into a digestible format to the Executive Team.

Essential Job Functions

• Develop Executive strategy presentations for Vantage’s International growth
• Source customer and competitive intelligence from various market sources
• Communicate strategy to Executive team on an ongoing basis
• Enable Vantage to focus on a growth strategy through a focused and concise plan

Duties

• Become intimately familiar with new and existing hyperscale cloud markets
• Develop market studies for every target market
• Evolve the priority matrix of new and existing market expansion
• Collaborate with the real estate team and the availability and feasibility of site acquisitions
• Stay fresh on the current activities of our customers across new markets by interacting with the Sales team and sourcing information from the market
• Develop market reviews, business cases, and various Executive presentations that would be reviewed by the CEO and Executive Team

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Business Administration or equivalent experience required, Master’s Degree preferred
• 5 years of experience managing Corporate Strategy teams required, 10 years preferred
• Data Center experience is strongly preferred
• Finance background is helpful
• Demonstrated proficiency in Excel is required
• Excellent written and oral presentation communication skills
• Ability to partner cross functionally to solve complex challenges
• Travel required is expected to be around 15%, but may increase over time as the business evolves
