The Role:

The Director of APJ Revenue Operations is a critical member of the APJ GTM leadership team. The role is responsible for building the organization that assists internal GTM customers with the technology, processes and insights to ensure they can perform their roles efficiently and can scale effectively. The role will be part of the APJ leadership team and over time will hire to support growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Journey Optimization - The Tealium Customer Journey is complex, involving a mix of automation, communication and process triggers, and Sales and CS touch points. You will be responsible for assessing this journey, particularly pre-conversion, and identifying areas where best practices, efficiency improvements and process optimizations can result in increased revenue scale, more efficient acquisition, and more satisfied customers. Solutions will be implemented most often through cross-functional alignment and cooperation.

  • Deal Desk - Run the Deal Desk for the APJ team.  This includes supporting contract creation, partnering with the sales team to negotiate solid terms for Tealium and understanding the give & take to create mutually beneficial outcomes.  Solid understanding of bookings policies to avoid surprises.
  • Regional Data Acquisition and Ownership - Sometimes regional data sources are necessary.  The Dir of APJ Revenue Operations will be responsible for assessing the regional needs for data acquisition and leading projects to acquire and integrate these tools into our tech stack and workflows to optimize the local teams output and success.
  • Insights & Analytics -The Director of Revenue Ops will be responsible for generating insights and decisions from the data sets created by the technologies used by the GTM organization, including the creation and maintenance of critical dashboards that will be utilized at a regional and IC level. With an emphasis on data hygiene, this person will propel the GTM team to new heights of execution by driving a greater understanding of team efficiency through the insightful use of data, including illuminating the effectiveness of incentive plans and program ROI. Examples include analytical frameworks, tools, dashboards and techniques to measure and report on key prospecting, pipeline and sales metrics for teams and individual sellers and SDRs. Standard SaaS acquisition and efficiency metrics will be the starting point. Key internal customers in the region and sharing insights globally.  Regional QBRs will be owned by the local Rev Ops team. 

  • Systems usability and leverage - This role will be responsible for the team that ensures that the Sales gets maximum value out of Salesforce, and implements best practices with regard to data hygiene and sales processes supported by Salesforce. This leader will have critical input into the design of SFDC for the benefit of the entire GTM team and will be responsible for configuration to meet needs.·

  • Highly motivated, self starter - Who can ‘connect the dots’ in a fast paced environment.

  • Technical acumen with, and a strategic grasp of the essential systems used to support the GTM organization, which today include Salesforce, Salesforce CPQ, Outreach, ZoomInfo and more.

  • Five years of experience in Ops leadership, with ten years of ops experience.

  • Experience with SaaS offerings and SaaS growth paradigms
