The Central Business Development team is the conduit for all external partnerships with Twitch, especially as it involves our game company and other strategic partners. The team’s mission is to drive overall relationships with strategic partners to help them understand all the opportunities with Twitch.
As Director of Business Development for Twitch in Japan, you will recommend long-term arrangements with strategic partners, predominantly game companies and other strategic content creators, coordinate projects across internal teams, and evaluate agreements. This role will also serve other local business needs including our Japanese Content Partnership team.
The ideal candidate for this role will have significant experience in evaluating and framing opportunities, defining value and goals, understanding long term strategies, and managing high level relationships. The candidate should have experience working cross-functionally across product, engineering, marketing, legal, finance, and executive teams.
