We are looking for a Director of European Revenue to join our team.

Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, this role will be responsible for working across our organization in Europe, including Brand and Community Marketing, Product Marketing, CRM, Communications, and Partnerships to drive our business and revenue growth in the region. You will also partner closely with our Revenue Strategy and Operations and Growth Product teams.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will:

Manage our subscription funnel in Europe

  • Lead cross functional team that drives our subscription business in the region.

  • Provide strategic inputs and in partnership with Product Marketing and country marketers, develop European specific subscription marketing plan(s) across subscription conversion funnel / subscriber lifecycle to meet region goals.

  • Partner with PMM, CRM and country marketers to develop subscription marketing campaigns and tactics across owned channels and maximize returns across them.

  • Partner with Brand Marketing, country marketers and PMM to localize and leverage global marketing campaigns and initiatives to key countries to drive subscription .

  • Partner with Growth Marketing and country marketers to develop and manage locally relevant paid performance/social marketing campaigns.

Own our European revenue

  • Develop European and country specific revenue and KPI plans and support ongoing forecasting in partnership with Revenue, Partnership, and Finance teams.

  • Understanding customer, industry, and competitor trends/behaviors in the region. Determine areas of focus across geography, athlete segments, and our subscription lifecycle and continually optimize focus to inform subscription marketing and drive subscription revenue.

  • Understand sources of variance and create plans to address.

  • Help develop, test, and roll out country specific subscription pricing and promotions.

  • Articulate European strategy and results to other Strava teams, management and Board.

Provide coordinated leadership across Brand / Community Marketing, Communications, Product Marketing, CRM and Partnerships in Europe

  • Collaborate with our Brand / Community Marketing, Communications and PMM/CRM teams to develop overall strategies and plans for marketing in Europe to drive awareness, engagement and subscribers.

  • Partner with our Partnership team to develop strategies and tactics to drive subscription consideration, subscription value and sales/distribution through European partners, and grow partner revenue over all.

Help evolve our regional growth strategy across other markets

  • Test and iterate on our strategies to clearly develop findings that Strava can apply in other markets.

  • Synthesize results and findings and partner with management, Marketing and other regional teams to help to develop and optimize our growth strategy across other key regions.

We’re excited about you because:

  • You have 10+ years or equivalent experience in subscription marketing, growth marketing or general management in a digital consumer business in Europe.

  • You have a track record of helping drive revenue growth and thrive on accountability and results.

  • You are comfortable operating without a playbook and are able to lead a culture of experimentation and learning.

  • You have experience setting up strategy and action plans with strong measurement frameworks.

  • You are analytical and use data to make informed decisions.

  • You have a proven track record of leading and executing growth projects independently and getting things done in a cross-functional organization.

  • You have experience working across Europe and bring perspective on how to show up as locally relevant.

  • You are adept at collaboration and outstandingly communicative in a fast-paced environment where collaboration and understanding people is required. You have passion for making colleagues successful throughout the company.

  • You are comfortable working remotely from other team members and your manager, but even so, manage to stay in sync and influence internal partners by being an excellent communicator.
