We are looking for a Director of Government Relations to define and drive the public policy agenda for regulators and governments across all our markets. The person in this role has a distinct opportunity to make a tremendous impact on the region and the trajectory of the company by help shape the regulatory environment that Careem operates within.

Key responsibilities

  • Work closely with regulators and other policy makers to positively shape new legislations and
  • Work closely with local authorities and to ensure minimum disruptions to city operations
  • Establish positive brand and relationship with governments and regulators
  • Actively source, close and manage partnerships with regulators and governments
  • Manage complex contract negotiations and work with legal counsel (if required)
