About the Role

We are looking for a Director of Growth & Retention to join our recently-launched company. In this position, you will drive the company’s online acquisition strategy, and manage the end to end customer marketing lifecycle and journey. 

You will get the opportunity to create and own a strategy to grow our top of funnel audience and manage our customer retention. This is the perfect role for you if you like experimenting, you are scrappy and excited about building processes from the ground up, and you like to think creatively about new challenges you approach. You’re excited about using data to drive customer acquisition and retention.

Responsibilities:

  • Growth:
    • Uncover new opportunities to acquire customers efficiently and at scale through digital marketing channels
    • Work closely with our paid channel partners to design testing roadmap to quickly learn and optimize 
    • Provide analytical insight into customer acquisition, behavior, and characteristics to identify acquisition and upgrade prospects to ensure a steady increase in new customers 
    • Develop KPI tracking, data analytics and reporting
  • Retention:
    • Developing overall strategy for driving loyalty outcomes 
    • Building segmentation, A/B testing and cohort analysis (across localization, conversion, cross selling, reactivation, loyalty, targeting)
    • Create an end-to-end customer lifecycle program from the ground up, using trigger-based messaging (email / SMS / etc ) to increase lifetime value / LTV and reduce churn
    • Develop one-time messaging strategies targeted at specific cohorts within the marketing funnel
    • Develop KPI tracking, data analytics and reporting

Requirements:

  • 5 - 7 years of experience in digital retention marketing or performance marketing – experience with high growth direct-to-consumer / CPG companies a plus
  • Experience managing agencies preferred
  • Experience with performance tracking, measurement, attribution
  • A consistent track record of exceeding overall acquisition, engagement and retention goals, with the ability to communicate strategies, successes, and learnings
  • Analytics-savvy and up-to-date on innovative tools, platforms, and resources to develop a data-driven team with the agility to pivot in real-time
  • Experience with Klaviyo or similar B2C email/CRM solutions
  • Expert in performance tracking and measurement tools, fluent in Google Analytics
  • Ability to work with Design and Brand teams
