We’re looking for an experienced Director, EMEA Marketing, who loves tackling key market opportunities based on a deep, data-driven understanding of markets and customer behavior. You will be tasked with building the pipeline for the regional revenue team. You will support the VP Product Marketing and Demand Generation and play a critical role in defining how we do this, what needs to be put in place in order to execute on the vision.
Your role will require you to work very closely with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Content Marketing, Account-based Marketing, Marketing Operations and Revenue teams. You’d be joining a team of talented individuals that care deeply about Segment’s customers, partners, each other and the broader community. What a day in the life would look like…
Create EMEA marketing strategy including budget and resources recommendations and building process to determine when to leverage centralized marketing and when to execute locally
Generate pipeline for EMEA region including developing a regional campaign strategy for EMEA prospects and customers
Work with centralized product marketing team to develop in-region campaigns
Work with centralized customer marketing team to develop EMEA case studies and impactful voice of the customer campaigns
Work with centralized demand generation and conversion strategies and apply them to region with a focus on results
Build top-of-funnel and nurture EMEA-centric content to attract and engage target top accounts and prospects
Align overall EMEA marketing strategy with regions based on regional differences and feedback from regional revenue team
Build EMEA campaign calendar and coordinate across marketing and revenue teams
Responsible for successful campaign execution and coordinate with key cross functional stakeholders
Marketing Operations: Campaign targeting, account selection, asset mix and campaign performance. Build nurture sequences for both new campaigns and always-on funnel nurture
Digital Marketing: Work with centralized team to schedule and optimize campaigns through key digital channels
Regional Programs: Align messaging and build programs and content with events, webinars and other local marketing channels
Revenue: Work with SDR and AE teams to coordinate assets and sequences to ensure coordinated messaging and drive conversion
Marketing Analytics: Measure the impact of campaigns and 'always-on' channels to ensure the right mix
What we’re looking for…
12+ years of experience leading regional marketing at a fast-growing, high profile organization(s)
6+ years experience managing a high-performing team across multiple functions and disciplines
Significant experience in B2B technology marketing with a keen understanding of the tech ecosystem and technical audiences (experience in data integrations or data warehousing is preferred)
Demonstrated ability to build high performing teams
Deep expertise in campaign strategy and management
Experience in developing, executing, and measuring the impact of multi-channel integrated campaigns
Proven ability to design and execute large-scale in-person marketing events, including user conferences and tradeshows
Ability to effectively influence both internal and external stakeholders across all levels of the organization
Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills
Experience with creative and brand agencies, budgets, and negotiating contracts
BS/BA degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA highly preferred)
