THE ROLE


Chronus is looking for a talented and passionate Director of Product Management to continue driving innovation in the most advanced and innovative mentoring software platform in the market. This position is ideal for an ambitious and entrepreneurial individual that can support Chronus by identifying the right problems and solutions to tackle and determining the WHAT and Why of our product roadmap and strategy. The role will be highly strategic in nature and report directly to the CEO while managing a global team and taking key input from external (customers) and internal (sales and customer success) stakeholders. Typical activities include spending considerable time with customers reviewing product specifications, managing the Product Management team and partnering with the Engineering, Sales, Marketing and Customer Success teams to deliver results.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Own the product roadmap and strategy
• Develop a keen understanding of the market, customer needs and competitors
• Immerse in the user experience
• Work closely with UX to deliver an engaging experience
• Manage release milestones while guiding development process
• Work with other key stakeholders to develop a comprehensive feedback loop
• Develop go to market strategy to increase adoption and deliver value to key stakeholders
• Determine a holistic view of the product and how it fits within the mentoring ecosystem
• Co-ordinate product releases with other key stakeholders
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to launch the product
• Represent the product and support the team during strategic meetings with key customers
• Develop KPI dashboard to analyze performance metrics
• Lead the global Product Management team

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
• Bachelor’s degree required in CS or related field, MA or MBA is a plus
• 6+ years of direct Product Management experience
• 2+ years of team management experience
• Passion for product and mentoring that spans business, design and technology
• Must be a resourceful self-starter with the ability to work independently in an entrepreneurial environment
• Ability to effectively prioritize, project manage and multi-task in a fast-paced, cross-functional organization (start-up experience in a fast-growing evangelical market a plus)
• Must be able to collaborate effectively with all levels of management and staff in a geographically dispersed environment
• Good judgement in ambiguous environments, professionalism, and a high degree of integrity
• Ability to focus and deliver on key strategic initiatives
• Translate market needs into product specifications
• Strong balance between forming an evangelical vision and getting into the weeds to deliver results
• Track record of execution and deploying the highest quality product on time with high adoption metrics
• Strong leadership, listening and cross-functional management skills
• Data driven and analytical
• Eager and driven to grow with Chronus and increase scope to absorb additional responsibilities
• Data-Driven with a strong analytical mindset
