We are looking for a Director of Growth to guide the product strategy and development of our existing and expanding business lines for our 400 million monthly visitors worldwide. We are looking for an analytical and hypothesis driven leader with experience in eCommerce or direct-to-commerce experiences to lead our Growth team. This role has a highly visibility set of responsibilities, including owning the P&L of the product, strategy, and execution of existing and expanding business categories. The Director will report to the Head of Traveler Product and work closely with other senior leaders to develop category specific marketing strategies and help launch new direct to consumer products.

What you'll do

  • Lead and mentor a team of product managers in driving business value through hypothesis-driven development processes

  • Manage multiple, concurrent initiatives in various phases of ideation, execution, and delivery

  • Develop operational efficiency to bring the highest quality products to market in the least amount of time

  • Manage the financial aspects of your product portfolio which includes, budgeting, forecasting, etc.

  • Develop deep partnership with teams of marketers, engineers, designers, researchers, and analysts to uncover insights and opportunities that shape your strategy and prioritization

What you bring

  • 8+ years of consumer product experience, 4-7 years of ecommerce/direct-to-consumer experience, 2-5 years of people management experience

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent; MBA or technical degree a plus

  • Experience applying hypothesis-driven development processes and driving user growth and engagement through experimentation, iteration, and learning

  • Excellent analytical and commercial experience - a track record of driving business value via effective product stewardship, understanding business impact, and making data-driven decisions

  • Strong communication and partnering skills - experience communicating product strategies and tradeoffs to diverse audiences

  • Experience building and growing strong teams - strategic hiring, coaching, and development of entry-level through senior product managers
