Casper is looking for a PR Director to join its talented Communications team. The ideal candidate with have a minimum of 8 years of experience in publicity and communications, with a combination of both in-house and agency experience preferred. This role requires excellent organizational skills with expertise in project management and cross-functional planning, plus a passion and understanding of brand voice and positioning. The PR Director will manage multiple agencies, lead a small internal PR / Communications team, and report to the VP of Communications. 


  • Managing multiple North American PR agencies and in-house PR team
  • Developing comprehensive PR campaigns to support new product launches, experiential programs, seasonal promotions, and brand partnerships 
  • Working closely with Experiential Marketing team to increase awareness around our regional events and trial opportunities 
  • Maintaining close relationships with media and identifying new media to work with in future
  • Owning the development of a comprehensive Comms library, including media documents, FAQs, talking points, and press releases 
  • Strategic thinking and ability to capture complex relationships
  • Identification and management of emerging PR opportunities, including areas such as executive thought leadership, product placement, and influencers. 


  • Minimum 8 years in public relations with both in-house and agency experience 
  • Strong organizational skills to project manage multiple agencies, cross-functional team initiatives, and nonstop programming
  • Extraordinary writing and editing skills 
  • Deep knowledge of national, top-tier press behavior
