Director of Sales Development

Curalate is seeking an experienced leader and subject matter expert in outbound lead generation to own our Sales Development program, mentoring, growing and directing a team of SDRs. The ideal candidate for our Director of Sales Development role, loves solving problems creatively, has a mind for operations/process improvements, and is excited by tough challenges.

  • Own, create and manage the outbound lead gen plan to attack and attract the right prospects that will become long-term customers
  • Optimize the plan/process/reporting to improve conversions, increase sales productivity and reduce customer acquisition cost
  • Work with sales to establish messaging, lead scoring, prospect lead nurturing and lead reporting through the sales funnel
  • Mentor the team to hit our aggressive outbound meeting goals and meeting to opportunity conversion goals
  • Analyze and interpret key metrics, recommend changes, and drive continuous improvement


About You:

  • You have 5+ years of management experience (including managing managers) and 3+ years of B2B lead generation experience
  • You’ve had proven success in building and scaling sales development teams, creating and implementing processes and compensation programs in fast-paced environment
  • You have expertise in outbound lead generation programs including a/b testing across outbound email efforts and nurture programs
  • You enjoy building repeatable and sustainable lead generation processes, a pipeline of leads, and conversion programs, providing measurable improvement in top-line and bottom-line growth
  • You have successfully hired the right people, enabling your team to exceed expectations
  • You have a deep understanding of the full sales cycle
  • You’re an expert in motivating a large, highly productive staff
  • You are creative, opportunistic and an expert problem solver
  • You know like the back of your hand
