About the role

The Director of Technical Services is an innovative leader who will build a team of technical specialists that enable customers to incorporate CrunchTime data into their corporate technology stack. The ideal candidate will have an equal balance of technical, consulting services, and solutions architecture experience in their background. Success in this role requires establishing standard solutions packages
for data integration, establishing knowledge of how CrunchTime data can be exposed and leveraged to customers, and being a results-focused problem solver. Solutions the Director establish ensure that any customer CrunchTime deployment is integrated with other critical systems in a robust, timely, and accurate fashion. The successful Director will understand ETL processes, data transfer
methods, and most importantly, operational data requirements for CrunchTime customers.

The Director of Technical Services will own the repeatable success of all aspects of CrunchTime integration, including:

  • Vendor Integration for ordering and receiving products into locations.
  • Financial System Integration for AP and COGS information to flow from CrunchTime to finance.
  • Point of Sale integration for sales and check level data.
  • Employee integration from a Human Capital Management system into CrunchTime.
  • Employee integration from CrunchTime into the time management systems
  • Schedule publication to the time management system.
  • Receiving time punches from the time management system.
  • Sending approved records to the payroll system.

Delivering on all of these use cases requires not only configuring core CrunchTime components but developing new data extractions via script, SQL, or business analytics platforms. The Director should also be prepared to bring common integration activities to Product Management for incorporation into the core platform.

What you’ll do as a Director of Technical Services

  • Build, organize, and train a team of technical specialists, consultants, and architects focused on data integration.
  • Create a portfolio of integrations that are standard to sell and deliver.
  • Map all dimensions of CrunchTime integration, and use this map to guide customers and prospects to success,
  • Provide technical and consultative leadership to the team
  • Build a library of integrations for team members to leverage 
  • Perform programming/scripting in support of implementations
  • Establish a culture of quality and develop process to match deliverables to requirements.
  • Work iteratively with Product Management to not only utilize new features in integration projects but also provide guidance for integration enhancemets.

What we’re looking for

  • 8-10 years’ experience in a technical consulting or systems architecture role.
  • 4 years’ experience with managing technical team members
  • Ability and experience in designing integration workflows
  • Competency with SQL is essential
  • Experience with data warehouse products such as MicroStrategies, PowerBI, or Sigma
  • Experience with using of SFTP and working knowledge of API’s
  • Experience with one or more Point of Sale systems is highly desirable
  • Excellent troubleshooting and creative problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
