Purpose:

We are looking for a stellar head of product marketing to develop and execute on the marketing strategy and Go-To-Market initiatives for Clickatell products and solutions. The role will focus on building and managing winning product positioning for target markets, solving for marketing challenges and partnering with internal teams to grow the Clickatell customer base, revenues and markets.

You will develop the strategies to articulate the key value propositions and drive the creation of winning collateral and demos for our digital and enterprise sales teams and customers. As a senior member of the marketing team, you will take an active role in ensuring the offerings meet revenue targets and strategic business goals.

You are analytical, action-oriented, results-driven and a strong communicator. You have a passion for monitoring and reporting on key metrics and honing marketing plans based on results. You have proven experience in enterprise product offerings, and come from the technology, finance or software industry. Communication, Financial technology or payments experience is a plus! You are an ambitious self-starter, with a strong work ethic, intense will-to-win, and demonstrable personal excellence.

This position reports to the Chief Marketing Officer, and is located at the Clickatell headquarters office in Redwood City, CA.

The role of our Champion:

  • Become an expert on Clickatell’s Chat Commerce Platform.
  • Partner closely with Clickatell’s Product Management team on building and managing the product roadmap, revenue forecasts per product and building strategic Go-to-market programs to drive adopt of Clickatell’s platform.
  • Develop the core positioning and messaging for the products targeted to geographies and core audiences
  • Develop sales tools and collateral in collaboration with the Content Marketing team
  • Brief and train the sales teams during regular sales meetings and webinars
  • Plan the launch of new releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan
  • Act as product and domain expert through presentations & demos to customers and at events
  • Be an expert with respect to the competition
  • Manage your marketing budget to maximize deliverables
  • Conduct Market Research to understand industry trends and identify market opportunities
  • In conjunction with Marketing and Sales leadership, create strategy for growing share of key markets as well as identify new market opportunities.
  • Influence digital marketing strategy as well as various marketing channels including webinars, email, website, social, and paid advertising.
  • Identify, track, analyze and share key marketing metrics. Build and deploy data driven models to track ROI and marketing effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with sales, account, product and other functional partners to review programs and quantify marketing effectiveness.
  • Manage and report on budget and expenses in detail, liaison with finance partners.

Our Champion's journey thus far:

  • BS degree in marketing, business or technology field
  • MBA a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in product management and/or product marketing roles in an enterprise software company
  • 1 - 2 years managerial experience
  • Demonstrable experience in launching new B2B products preferably to a global audience
  • Demonstrable experience in product roadmap development focusing on growth
  • Possess deep understanding of audiences within the market, being able to communicate w/ decision makers, influencers and evangelists
  • Strong marketing analytics knowledge and experience
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the sales funnel and pipeline management
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced, technology-focused organization
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Must be able to travel 20-30%
  • Comfortable working across countries, cultures and time zone
