The Position:

Maple is looking for someone to take on a hands-on operations role at a fast growing food company. The Distribution Manager will be responsible for all distribution to and from the commissary – the central location of food production. This person is a creative problem-solver with a background in distribution/logistics, ready to develop efficient operations to match Maple’s rapid growth.

The right person has an incredible attention to detail, is excited by the idea of juggling multiple projects at once and has no problem tackling everything from small to-do’s to multi-week projects. The Distribution Manager will work directly with the Commissary Operations Manager and other members of the Culinary Operations team, chef de cuisine and sous chefs to ensure that no ball is dropped.

About You & Your Experience:

  1. 3-5 years of distribution/logistics experience in an organizationally demanding, fast-paced and high-growth operating environment
  2. Analytical mindset with a passion for problem-solving and do-what-it-takes attitude
  3. Passion for food
  4. Food Safety knowledge
  5. Outstanding quality of character with low ego
  6. Team player

Core Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the packing, picking, and delivery teams
  2. Oversee efficient, precise and correct daily distribution to Maple hubs.
  3. Own and develop transportation operations
  4. Manage culinary projects and support commissary operations.
