The role of an E-commerce Manager involves overseeing and managing the online sales of various platforms. This includes devising strategies to increase revenue and enhance the customer experience, using tools and software to manage e-commerce platforms, and analyzing data to track progress.

Requirements

The E-commerce Account Manager plays a crucial role in our leadership team, tasked with creating and executing strategies to increase online sales and generate revenue. The Job Description is wide, which includes overseeing website/e-commerce shop development, directing marketing initiatives, analyzing customer trends and behaviors, and cultivating partnerships with important vendors and partners.   • Create and implement an effective e-commerce plan to drive higher profits for the company
  • Lead and supervise a team of skilled e-commerce experts
  • Oversee the creation and upkeep of our e-commerce websites
  • Collaborate closely with various departments like operations, customer service, sales, and inventory, to enhance the overall online shopping experience
  • Ensure that all industry regulations and standards are met
  • Regularly analyze key e-commerce metrics and present reports to top-level executives
  • Stay updated on the latest e-commerce technology and consumer trends, and integrate them into our strategies

The specific duties and responsibilities of an E-commerce Manager may vary depending on the size and scope of the company, but generally include:

  • Developing and executing e-commerce strategies in line with company and store objectives.
  • Managing and optimizing nine sales channels, such as the Website, Shopee, TikTok, and Lazada platforms.
  • Creating campaigns and promotions while also participating in those offered by e-commerce
  • Analyzing e-commerce data and rmetrics to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams (such as marketing, sales, and product development to maintain consistent messaging and branding across channels.
  • Keeping up-to-date with developments and trends in e-commerce, and making recommendations for enhancement.
  • Creating a calendar for each platform used by the company and other shops, so that the sales and marketing team can develop appropriate materials
  • Managing a team of employees under their supervision,
  • Working closely with the inventory manager to forecast items needed for sale and plan promotions accordingly.
  • Reporting directly to the operations and trade manager.

Must-have Skills / Qualifications:

  • E-commerce Expertise: Preference for candidates with hands-on experience managing shops on major e-commerce platforms in the Philippines, such as Shopee and Lazada.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with platform-specific operations, tools, and best practices to optimize store performance and drive sales growth.
  • Valuable Connections: Proven ability to leverage industry relationships and knowledge to streamline operations and enhance the company’s presence on various platforms.
  • Adaptability: Capability to manage multiple shops across different platforms efficiently, ensuring consistent performance and alignment with business goals.
  • Strategic Insight: Experience in developing and implementing strategies tailored to e-commerce environments to maximize growth opportunities.
  • Candidates with extensive experience in Shopee, Lazada, TikTok will be given strong consideration.
