SUMMARY
Editorial Intern
Sweety High is looking for a passionate, creative and strategic editorial intern seeking experience at a fast-paced digital publishing company. This is a part-time, in-office position in Marina Del Rey, CA. Applicants should be comfortable within the girl culture space. Familiarity with teen celebrities, boy bands, emerging talent and Disney stars is a must.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with editorial team to ideate and craft editorial content
- Conduct research on current events and what’s trending in the digital space among Sweety High's core demographic (10-16 year-old girls)
- Assist with mailings, newsletters and other in-office duties
- Publicist outreach
- Online outreach and promotion using Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and more
- Search engine optimization and link cleanup within Wordpress
- Keyword analysis
QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong understanding of the digital media landscape
- Experience with Wordpress
- Ability to work creatively in a deadline driven, production-based, fast paced environment
- Positive, self-starter attitude
- Passion for teen content
