Vimond offers a cloud based platform for video content management and delivery, used by  broadcasters, distributors and content owners around the world to efficiently manage their online OTT and live video services. In addition we have Vimond IO, a revolutionary cloud based, frame-accurate and high quality video storytelling application running in your own browser. 

We are part of the Norwegian Media Cluster and our headquarters are located in beautiful Bergen, Norway, with branch offices in New York and Sydney.

A great opportunity that would suit either an experienced HR professional keen for a new challenge, or alternatively, an individual who is early in their HR career and looking to broaden their knowledge across a range of HR activities.

The goal for the position is to make the entire Vimond employee experience as enriching as possible. The skills needed for the position would be both HR methods, as well as creativity, empathy and emotional intelligence. Your digital skills are above average, and you are experienced with working in an international environment. You will need to demonstrate strong administrative and organisational skills, and be willing to deliver effective and thoughtful HR and support to internal stakeholders. 

Whilst we are a small team, you will have the opportunity to have a big impact, depending on your individual approach and willingness to think differently. 

What you’ll be doing:

  • You will be the first point of contact for all HR related queries for all employees globally, and offer guidance on applying HR policies and procedures
  • Workplace management - manage and maintain our office space and subcontractors at our HQ and global offices, as well as facilitating for remote/home office
  • Maintaining HR information with accurate and up to date employee information, including absences, contractual changes, appraisals, training etc
  • Develop a structured framework for employee competence development and training, in close cooperation with our department managers
  • Develop and execute professional on-/offboarding, introduction and follow-up programmes
  • Organize engaging employee and customer events
  • Arrange continuous health, wellness and social activities, virtual and physical 
  • Engage in student outreach programmes and interns
  • Assessing the impact that people practices and policies have on the employee experience
  • Assist in designing approaches to communications which provide an employee voice
  • Reviewing management practices and their impact on the employee experience
