Employee Relations Business Partner

We are looking for a passionate, highly experienced Employee Relations Business Partner to join our growing team. In this role, you will manage employee relations matters across our multi-state field operations locations. You are responsible for results in terms of reducing costs to the business, ensuring legal compliance and adherence to CLEAR policies, and implementing employee relations best practices. 

To be successful in this role, a high level of autonomy is key; you can independently tackle highly complex employee relations matters, even when faced with new or unusual situations where precedents for resolutions aren’t available. You know how to build strong relationships and can effectively collaborate with key stakeholders in order to solve intricate problems. Most importantly, you care deeply about the employee experience and are extremely passionate about fostering a positive working environment for our people.


 What you will do:

You will serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point for all employee relations matters.

 Partner with General Counsel in order to investigate complex employee relations issues; identify and implement resolutions.

 Develop and implement employee relations policies, practices, and procedures. Ensure adherence to company policies and compliance with current and pending legal regulations.

 Analyze employee relations metrics in order to identify trends, gaps, and/or challenges. Continuously use your findings to foster a proactive approach to employee relations.

 Conduct training on employee relations topics. Proactively research ER topics/trends, and ensure our training material is continuously updated and relevant.

 Ensure employee relations programs and policies are in alignment with company strategy.

 

 Who you are:

An Employee Relations subject matter expert with extensive experience managing employee relations for large employee populations across multiple states.

 A proven track record of effectively working with and influencing Senior Leadership to resolution of complex Employee Relations issues.  Demonstrated credibility with Senior HR Leadership a must. HR Field experience in customer service/retail a plus.

 Superior knowledge and understanding of Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, NLRA, Time Off and a working knowledge of other local, state and federal employment laws.

 Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to facilitate collaborative solutions.

Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
