The Role  

The Enterprise Business Development Representative role is responsible for expanding Revel’s Enterprise customer base. This role will be responsible for utilizing prospecting strategies and tools to identify prospects and initiate the first outreach with potential customers. We are seeking a results-oriented, motivated and strategic ‘hunter’ who is laser-focused on building sales pipeline. On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for cold-calling prospects, educating the market about the power of Revel’s POS solution, and generating opportunities with new customers. This role is designed to capture large, strategic prospects and contribute to Sales’ bookings in a meaningful way. 

Responsibilities

  • Work closely and collaboratively with the VP of Enterprise Sales and Enterprise Sales Executives to develop and implement appropriate prospecting strategies to lead initial outreach to prospects
  • Generate target lists using prospecting tools based on verticals and industries that best fit Revel’s core solution
  • Conduct high volume prospecting to qualify leads through calls, emails, and social media
  • Schedule discovery meetings and demonstrations for sales representatives and prospects
  • Maintain and update the Outbound Prospecting database in Salesforce

 Our Ideal Candidate

  • Experience in sales development, business development, and/or sales with a track record of success
  • Knowledge of prospecting and hunting strategies, especially outbound
  • Knowledge of the Point of Sale and Restaurant industry 
  • Ability to make strong connections and overcome rejections
  • Collaborative team player
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Key Requirements

  • 2+ years of related experience in sales, sales development, or business development
  • An understanding of Software as a Service
  • Must be able to demonstrate prospecting skills
  • Previous cold calling experience required 
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and Microsoft Office
