Our initiatives are focused on connecting stakeholders within these ecosystems, building tech companies from scratch and investing in the top entrepreneurs.


About the job

Your main job will be launching the operations of Seedstars and setting up “small autonomous venture builder” units to test, launch and grow new tech companies with us in different locations. The venture builder operates as a country holding, which has the objective to develop the entrepreneurial ecosystem and build a diversified portfolio of high growth tech companies solving real "pains" rather than "vitamins".

You will be on the ground to help setup a country holding for maximum 3-6 months/ mission, with the main responsibility to:

1. Test different ideas by building MVPs, while looking for a problem - solution fit

2. Find, train and grow a local team to lead the venture building aspect after your mission is completed

This is a very entrepreneurial role, since you will be responsible for launching different tech companies at the same time. 

We believe in the power of teams, so you will be working in a "SWAT team" of 3 - 4 people, with each person having a clear responsibility and expertise, in the areas of:

  • Business development, sales and Operations
  • Growth hacking & online marketing
  • Product development

Before applying, please keep in mind that at this stage we are looking for more specialists (in the areas mentioned above) rather than generalists.


Key responsibilities:

(A) Scout and recruit entrepreneurs and team, test mindset and expectations

- Recruit Venture MDs for successful pilots

- Recruit local "SWAT team"

- Recruit Finance and BI person

(B) Define guidelines and roadmap to test and execute early-stage development of ideas:

- Define roadmap for the first 6 months

- Set up lean operation and digital presence

- Test & iterate: validate interest for a concept, generate initial traction (B2C & B2B)

- Manage product demo development and/or MVP

(C) Seedstars Country Set Up

- Establish/implement process to setup local operation together with the Country Holding MD

- Relay Seedstars culture and build a local team to represent Seedstars locally

- Launch Seedspace in each location, part of our own network of co-working & co-leaving spaces.



We are currently looking for people to travel in "missions" of 6 months (or already be based) in the following locations: 

  • Morocco
  • Egypt
  • South Africa
  • Peru
  • Colombia
  • Thailand
  • Indonesia
  • Philippines

Your profile

  • You are a strong believer in our mission to impact people’s lives in emerging markets through tech and entrepreneurship
  • Previous relevant experience with the job is a MUST
  • Flexibility & International exposure - This job only makes sense for someone who is passionate about traveling and excited to go somewhere completely new, often on very little notice & with a couch surfer attitude
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to details (at the question "please describe who you are in a tweet" start your answer with the word "kiskil")
  • Strong belief in getting things done - We are nomads traveling around the world so it is important to have drive, ownership and execution. Working in remote with an international team, you have to be comfortable working alone and capable to prioritize and make things happen
