Want to know what working in a Minister’s office is like?

The Ministerial and Parliamentary team is looking for someone to fill in for the Departmental Liaison Officer (DLO) whilst Candice Bradley takes some well-earned leave from 15 February to 2 March.

The DLO is the primary point of contact between the DTA and the Minister’s office / advisers and no two days are ever the same!

We’re looking for someone who can roll their sleeves up and get things done, and has:

• a working knowledge of who does what in the DTA
• an understanding of the current strategic priorities of the DTA
• the ability to prioritise work to meet tight time frames and respond effectively to changing priorities and deadlines in a high-pressure environment
• excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills including the ability to foster effective working relationships with colleagues and internal and external stakeholders
• high level written communication skills demonstrating accuracy and excellent attention to detail

A handover will be arranged prior to Candice going on leave, so you would need to be available on either 2, 3 or 4 February and then from Thursday 11 February until Wednesday 3 March.
