As a growing company with a non-traditional hierarchy, our hands-on founder/CEO needs someone to help filter his responsibilities and prioritize his time, sorting through all the things he could do and bringing focus to the things he must do.
Your daily tasks will include managing our founder's email and calendar, drafting email responses and following up on his behalf with VIP partners, advisors, corporate execs, senior team members, and anyone else needed. You will coordinate his day-to-day activities, orchestrate meetings and events to fit company priorities, arrange travel, and manage expenses among many other important components to maximize his performance. For this position, experience in copywriting, writing blog posts, and drafting thought pieces are an asset. Ideally, you are also well versed in the culture of venture capital, startups, and the tech industry.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. You need to be able to extract pertinent internal and external information and then communicate it well.
Ability to plan and prioritize workflow, autonomously and on the fly while under pressure. Much of this role will be spent handling last-minute, ever-shifting plans with ease and poise, and you will be required to think and react with great speed.
Proven analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ideally, you combine common sense with a perfectionist streak to deliver solutions grounded in reality. And, when it’s called for, you know when and how to push back.
Exceptional and acute attention to detail and deadlines. This role requires complete efficiency, calendar mastery, and respect for everyone’s time.
Proactive, with a track-record of taking initiative. We want a problem solver that’s a stickler for quality. Our ideal candidate doesn’t just solve bottlenecks; they anticipate and preempt them before they become a problem.
Desire, flexibility, and ability to grow and take on evolving responsibilities. There’s no job beneath you; you can gather up a team to help when it makes sense and roll up your sleeves and do it yourself when necessary.

Transport Reimbursement. We cover public transport to work and back. If you bike to work instead, we set aside $1000/year for bike maintenance. If you walk to work, we’ll bonus you the same amount as a rental subsidy.
