Who we are looking for:
We are looking for an Executive Network Producer to join the team who will manage the budget and work with our Director of Programming, overseeing all the content for TAG and TAG premium. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is highly adaptable and motivated, and ready to meet any challenge. This is a position for a self-motivated "out-of-the-box" thinker who can anticipate problems and come up with solutions.
What you'll do:
Work closely with the Director of Programming and members of the content team to grow the audience for our roster of shows, using best practices in on-air and digital promotion and marketing, including coordinating social media and press outreach.
You will be responsible for the overall quality control of productions and are a key member of teams responsible for selecting marketable projects.
Lead a wide range of productions both original, scripted and unscripted content.
Produce all original TAG content, and ensure it's highly entertaining, produced to a high professional standard, commercially viable, and delivered on schedule.
Manage all licensed TAG content, and ensure the deliverables are made on time and in the correct broadcasting format.
Ensure that all TAG shows are on budget and providing the best possible service to the audience, the talent, and advertising clients.
Create and systematically manage opportunities for cross promotion both within and outside of the network, including utilizing live shows and merchandizing to increase visibility.
Monitor show performance closely and intervene, leading planning and execution of measures to support struggling shows. Review all performance of all shows on a quarterly basis and end relationships that don't benefit all the partners.
Skills and experience toolbox:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Must have a minimum of 10+ years, high-level, supervisory editorial experience overseeing end to end program production for a production company or cable network.
Must have a working knowledge of production budgets and the ability to analyze ratings and other research data to better understand our own programming and the competitive landscape.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
Must be able to multi-task many details of a high paced workload, while maintaining a strategic and organized workflow.
