Finding what works 

The Experimentation Manager on our Data Science team will have significant business experience working with analytics and a solid understanding of statistical methodology. The successful candidate will work with Data Science, Business Intelligence and other company stakeholders to identify and coordinate experimental efforts. The individual will develop early reporting to determine and communicate results. Additionally, the individual will work with Data Science to assist with general statistical consulting, ad hoc model building and other reporting and analysis tasks as necessary.

 Responsibilities:

  • Work with business stakeholders and data science to identify and design experiments.
  • Coordinate experimental efforts across the business to ensure experiments are synergistic.
  • Develop ad hoc analysis frameworks to report on and effectively communicate the results of experiments to leadership.
  • Communicate reporting framework to business intelligence and developers to assist in reporting productionalization.
  • Develop ad hoc statistical models to support company stakeholders as necessary.

 

What we need from you....

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or other quantitative field, Master’s preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in business analytics.
  • Proficiency in SQL, experience with Tableau a plus.
  • Experience in accessing and manipulating data in Hadoop/HIVE preferred.
  • Experience in Python, R and SAS a plus.
  • A solid understanding of statistical techniques including experimental design, logistic regression, time series forecasting, clustering.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
