Facilities Technician II

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with Facilities construction projects and work requests.
  • Self-perform miscellaneous tasks such as: installation of commercial furniture, anchoring small machines, sawing, welding, brazing, soldering, and light construction.
  • Must adhere to proper safety guidelines at all times.
  • Performs other maintenance duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager.
  • Moving heavy equipment.
  • Driving forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts
Basic Qualifications:
  • High school Diploma or GED.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Experience in construction and like environments.
  • Experience in operating equipment like trench rammers, drills, pneumatic hammers etc.
  • Knowledge of mixing and pouring construction material (concrete, sand, grout etc.).
  • Knowledge of basic engineering and construction principles and methods.
  • Able to work in a team.
  • Able to read instructions and blueprints when needed.
  • Construction, Mechanical, or Manufacturing background is a plus.
  • Competency in the use of basic hand tools.
  • Computer skills a plus.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing facility is preferred.
  • Must be hands on person willing to do anything.
  • Self-motivated and works well with others.
  • Must be able to drive a forklift.


Additional Requirements:
  • Must be physically capable of performing manual labor tasks (Lift 50 lbs. from the floor).
  • Ability to work while standing on lifts and ladders.
  •  Valid driver’s license.
