Internship Overview:

Rent the Runway is hiring an all-star intern in our New York City headquarters. The ideal candidate is passionate not only about the fashion industry but the business behind it, entrepreneurial, heavily involved on their college campus, creative, and driven. The internship is a unique opportunity to gain exposure to the fashion industry, and one of New York City's top startups while earning school credit.


  • Assist Fashion team with projects and administrative tasks
  • Collaborate in a team setting
  • Sample procurement and management
  • Support the team at monthly photo-shoots
  • Collect materials and assemble presentations for the Fashion team
  • Create and edit the seasonal buy books
  • Assist with weekly selling recaps
  • Attend vendor market appointments to assist buyer


  • Currently enrolled in a 4-Year college (undergrad or graduate)
  • Minimum 3.5 GPA
  • Candidates should be fluent in excel
  • Ability to synthesize and communicate analyses
  • Have a positive attitude, and willingness to roll up their sleeves and get involved
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented
  • Must be a scrappy self-starter who knows how to prioritize and take ownership without a lot of structure or guidance
