FC Dallas Youth Club Summer Intern

FC Dallas Youth has created a unique hands-on experience for students looking to gain experience in the sports industry. We are looking for a detail oriented, bright, passionate, hard-working student to be a part of our team through our internship program. This opportunity allows the individual to gain valuable experience with a professional organization for their future in the sports industry. The summer intern will assist the FCDY Operations Director with planning, organizing, communication, preparation, and execution of multiple events.

 

What you’ll do: 

  • Ensure all team coach and manager requirements are fulfilled.
  • Assist with the collection and accuracy of team documents.
  • Prepare and support Select Soccer Tryouts.
  • Create tryout field schedule.
  • Coordinate Uniform Fittings and Volunteers.
  • Manage multiple online databases.
  • Assist staff with the operations of our WPSL program.
  • Support our camp program as needed.

You are: 

  • A friendly, upbeat student wanting to work within the sports industry.
  • Hard-working, dedicated, and passionate about soccer.
  • Able to take initiative and maintain a high level of professionalism within a professional sports environment.
  • Deadline-driven and can work under pressure while juggling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Required to work a flexible schedule to include some nights, weekends and holidays based on match schedule. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have a valid Driver License and clean driving record and access to your own vehicle.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required.
