Field Chief Technology Officer (Field CTO)

The Role As Field CTO, you will lead a growing team of solution engineers, serve as the bridge between product capabilities and customer needs, and be hands-on in both architecture and client strategy. You will play a critical role in pre- and post-sales engagements, ensuring our customers are successful from onboarding through long-term adoption. What We're Looking For

8+ years of experience in a client-facing technical role (e.g., solutions engineering, sales engineering, solutions architecture)

Proven leadership experience and a passion for mentoring and team-building

Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, data platforms, and modern engineering practices

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with cross-functional teams

Experience with data engineering, ML pipelines, or enterprise SaaS is a strong asset

What You'll Do

Own the end-to-end technical engagement lifecycle for key clients

Lead and scale a high-performing team of solution engineers

Partner with sales, product, and engineering to define technical strategy in deals

Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by designing and delivering scalable solutions

Translate customer feedback into actionable insights for the product roadmap

Develop and maintain technical documentation, demos, and POCs

Ensure the team consistently delivers high-quality solutions with a strong customer focus

Nice to Have

Experience with tools like Kubernetes, Airflow, dbt, or cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure)

Background in software development or DevOps

Familiarity with the data/ML tooling ecosystem
