Finance Internship


Hillary for America provides a meaningful learning experience that allows dedicated future leaders to gain the skills needed to better our communities and our nation. Interns will participate in interactive trainings and educational workshops while engaging in first-hand experience on a political campaign.  The internship is an unpaid opportunity.

Applicants should be energetic, motivated, and excited to work on a historical presidential campaign in one of our regional finance offices through Election Day!


Can I receive school credit for interning with Hillary for America? Yes, depending on your school requirements. We encourage you to apply for school credit as part of your participation in the internship program. We prioritize a meaningful learning experience while working with seasoned campaign staff from around the country.

Is the internship paid? This is an unpaid internship.  Interns will obtain an educational and professional experience in connection with their education or pursuit of a degree. Interns are eligible to apply to receive funding/stipends from their universities unpaid internship programs if their universities have these funds available.

Is the internship part time or full time? Part-time, full-time preferred.

What type of projects will I work on as an intern? Interns will be working primarily on fundraising, donor maintenance, and event planning efforts.

Where can I intern? Internships are currently available ONLY in Boston, Washington D. C., Philadelphia, Chicago, Miami, Austin, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.


HFA interns must be 18 years old, supporters of the campaign, ANDCurrently enrolled in a two or four-year U.S. accredited institution, OR Currently enrolled in a U.S. graduate or an advanced degree program, OR High school senior enrolled in a college or university the following fall. Proof of enrollment must be provided to participate.
