Financial Change Manager

This role will be responsible for change management and business process redesign in several finance areas as we implement Workday, and will be a critical part of the ERP implementation team.  This is a 10 month contract role during the critical portions of implementation.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide change management leadership, i.e., points of view, direction and guidance based on professional experience and expertise, to change management team, program leaders and executive sponsors
  • Business process documentation and design – supporting business process redesign for finance areas requiring significant change
  • Configuration, testing and maintenance of business processes in Workday
  • Project manager for business process redesign activities, including ownership of testing, test plan development and training
  • On-going maintenance of Workday business processes, cost centers/companies

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or higher degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
  • 3-5 years experience in business process design, project management or organizational change management
  • Experience with Workday or other SAAS accounting systems a plus
  • Technology industry experience preferred
  • Ability to draft communications and create materials for change
  • Ability to create classroom training courseware/job aids and do classroom training
