Financial Data Analyst

About You
You have interest building; curating managing financial data to support management reporting and have a track record of extracting insights and actionable information from structured data. Enjoy developing and maintaining reports as well as administrating planning applications to support key stakeholders. You have built dashboards for regular review, summarized results for executive stakeholders, and explained nuanced findings for non-technical audiences. You work with diverse teams who come to you with complex problems to refine their needs into answerable questions, answer those questions, and work with them until they understand the implications.

Job Responsibilities
·       Administrator Adaptive Planning tool
·       Build and maintain dashboards and reports
·       Build out and maintain account structures to support reporting/metrics
·       Maintain staffing data in Adaptive, work closely with key stakeholders to report accurately
·       Support actual data integration and verification
·       Manage and update forecast and annual planning data
·       Manage scenarios within application
·       Perform ad-hoc analyses for stakeholders on a variety of teams across the organization
·    Identify and develop process improvements and data validation rules to help scale Airship’s financial data
Skills and Experience:
·       5 + years of Financial analysis and accounting experience is desired
·       Ability to transform business end-user needs into technical and functional requirements
·       Excellent customer service skills with the ability to form relationships both externally and internally
·       Prior Financial Planning and Reporting system experience is required, (Adaptive Insights administration experience is strongly desired)
·       Four-year college degree in relevant discipline (accounting, finance, MIS) or equivalent experience.
·       Experience in roles that include business/process analysis, business reporting, enterprise application support, systems implementations and systems integrations
·       Excellent customer service skills with the ability to form relationships both externally and internally
·       Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills
·       Strong written and verbal communication skills
