Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager

The newly created role of the FP&A Manager will have responsibility for all aspects of Azimo fast growing group’s forecasting and budgeting processes. The group currently undertakes annual re-forecasts, budgets and five year plans, all of which you will be expected to not only manage but also challenge and develop further.



  • Working closely with the Senior Team to formulate the business's medium to long term financial and strategic plan
  • Producing models to project long term growth and determine the impacting business factors
  • Full ownership of the budgeting process
  • Analysing capital requirements for the group, understanding optimisation opportunities and model future needs
  • Analysing financial and operational results to better understand company performance
  • Preparing business cases to support new investment, strategic and other business decisions
  • Evaluating previous budgets, expenditures to develop and implement future budgets
  • Communicating results and recommendations to senior management for improvements that will lead to cost reduction, revenue generation and streamlining operations
  • Create, refine and automate reporting tools / models / dashboards that provide analysis and insight into KPIs, thus enabling the business leadership to make timely, accurate, and fact-based decision

Skills requirements:

  • 3-5 years FP&A experience
  • Significant analytical skill set, including the utilisation of BI and reporting tools
  • Problem solving attitude
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to build relationships
  • High level of commercial acumen
  • Self-starter
  • Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA
  • Strong and proven ability to plan, organise and prioritise own workload, and to manage the workload of others to ensure deadlines are met
