Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager

Reporting directly to the CFO, the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will oversee business forecasting.  Primary duties include spotting data anomalies, trends, or deviations and then introducing and suggesting strategies for improvement.    

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Creating systems and processes for business budgeting and forecasting
  • Short-term cash flow analysis and forecasting
  • Analysis of internal controls
  • Anticipating questions about the company’s cash flow and financial projections and providing preemptive answers to leadership team
  • Prepare monthly financial reporting packages for internal management review
  • Prepare financial models for P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow forecasting
  • Prepare financial statement analysis and metrics and comparatives for industry peers
  • Prepare MD&A analysis
  • Prepare financial statement flux analysis and provide detailed explanations for external auditors
  • Executing month-end close reporting.
  • Driving process improvements in the areas of accruals, analysis, and reporting by leveraging systems and other resources
  • Assist with special projects as requested

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business related.
  • Excellent analytical, organization and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to effectively interact with all levels of management
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and manage deadlines accordingly
  • High degree of sensitivity and discretion in working with confidential information
  • Demonstrated detail-oriented work ethic
