Flagship Retail Store Manager

Grana has its sights set on the United States, and we’re looking for the right team to support our expansion. We want a team to literally take the US fashion industry by storm! We can only do this with the most passionate, creative, and focused US team in place.
Grana is a 2 year old international fashion start-up with operations based out of our Hong Kong office and warehouse. Our mission is to provide the highest quality clothes and consumer goods at the lowest possible prices, while having as much fun as possible doing it. Not to brag, but we are growing quickly and are ready to take on the US market.
We’re looking for a dynamic showroom manager who wants to work in a varied and fast-paced role. The right candidate will manage the New York showroom and will develop a team of exceptional support staff to provide exceptional customer service and help achieve sales goals. You’ll work closely with the US Experience Director and the marketing team to grow customers and community relationships.
·       Understand the Grana core values and communicate these values to the team and customers
·       Hire the right team including an assistant showroom manager, full time staff members and part time staff
·       Own scheduling, time-off and payroll for all showroom staff
·       Coordinate in-store events with on the ground support from the New York marketing team
·       Provide weekly feedback to US Experience Director with sales updates ongoing store operations
·       Run training sessions for staff, to increase brand awareness, product knowledge and overall performance
·       Achieve and exceed sales targets
·       Set an example for other staff members by becoming a brand ambassador by developing an understanding of the Grana products and story
·       Diploma or Bachelor’s degree
·       Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail management
·       Understanding and experience of visual merchandising is a bonus
·       Leadership and problem solving skills
·       Strong communication skills, verbal and written
·       A positive, outgoing, high energy spirit
·       Comfortable leading trainings, and being a mentor for other staff members
·       Take pride in your work – making things happen quickly and efficiently
·       A fan of the Grana way of thinking
