ABOUT THE ROLE

Careem's fleet managers are the backbone of what we do. They are the ones leading our teams to providing top-notch captain service, growing the fleet, and, managing the day-to-day in a fashionable manner. A fleet manager is typically leading 8 tigers in a shift ensuring quality, managing peak, perfecting on-boarding, and, spreading love amongst captains.

Responsibilities

  • Inspiring the fleet team and leading them by example
  • Meet monthly/daily KPI targets for quality, peak management, captain on-boarding, and, captain happiness
  • Empathize with the fleet team and attend their needs
  • Lead a daily fleet meeting whilst focusing the discussion on KPIs and processes
  • Manage escalated captain cases with care
  • Institute fleet policies and incentive programs
  • Address suppliers' concerns, train them on our system, and, lead the relationship
