KAYAK is looking for an analytically-minded, detail-oriented team player with the drive to improve the product and user experience across all markets. As a Flight Data specialist, you’ll ensure that our users always get the most accurate and comprehensive information when making their travel decisions. The position will be based in our Berlin Technology Center and will require collaboration with engineers, consumer support, product and commercial teams in Berlin, and our other offices.
Day-to-day administration of static and dynamic fees - including research, testing API data, and identifying discrepancies and missing content
Working closely with external partners and our commercial team on resolving issues and improving our mutual users’ experiences
Diagnosing technical issues and liaising with the engineering and product teams to solve them
Maintaining and monitoring the compliance of all the legal guidelines that concern our external partners
Providing industry insights and conducting independent qualitative research to suggest product changes and feature improvements
Supporting the development of internal tools to automate existing processes
0-2 years of experience in the travel industry and/or in a tech company
Excellent knowledge of Excel, experience working with large datasets
Fluent in English, German/other languages beneficial
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Logical and data-driven mindset
Basic knowledge of SQL appreciated
Travel industry background beneficial
