The Food Safety & Regulatory Compliance Specialist with the direction from the Director of Operations sets the vision for the plant on a high level, building the team and crafting its culture. You’ll be accountable for the team following all procedures consistently and driving measurable quantitative improvements in performance. Your daily focus will be food safety and regulatory compliance, you’ll be responsible for the proper planning and execution of all regulatory compliance initiatives. You will be responsible for completing the daily food safety plan and holding our Quality Assurance and Receiving Specialists team accountable for their performance.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who has 2+ years of experience working independently to set procedures, uphold standards, and deliver measurable quantitative results in manual production or distribution environment. Our fast paced environment demands passion, multitasking, high attention to detail, the ability to perform with a sense of urgency, and keen problem solving and organization skills.
