As the FP&A Finance Analyst II, your mission is to help transform Collective Health’s Financial Planning and Analysis function. In doing so, you will closely collaborate with stakeholders from Finance, Customer Experience, Sales, and Marketing. You will drive increased visibility into short term resource allocation and long term financial strategy. You have an opportunity to directly influence overall company strategies, interact with Collective Health’s senior leadership, all while scaling a tightly functioning FP&A organization. You must be intellectually curious, detail-oriented, and able to identify solutions to complex problems (frequently with limited or incomplete data), then roll-up your sleeves to drive implementation and track your work’s impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage recurring reporting including dashboards, monthly metrics, and Board materials
  • Manage scenario planning process through ongoing headcount management and expense planning
  • Lead month-end close procedures to update headcount projections, monthly reporting and gross margin model
  • Assist in our Deal Desk process by creating our sales quotes, calculating our gross margins and total company gross margin mix calculation
  • Operate recruiting staffing model and long-term location modelling
  • Manage financial and unit economic models leading to key insights driving efficiency in cost allocation and utilization
  • Partner with our corporate accounting team to develop our process for monthly cash flow forecasting
  • Establish oneself as a trusted partner to peers and senior leaders with an intimate understanding of stakeholder requirements to run the business

Requirements:

  • Experience with hosted Planning solutions and ERP solutions. We use Adaptive Planning and Netsuite
  • 3 years applicable work experience in a fast-paced environment preferably in technology or healthcare
  • Expert MS excel skills - candidate should be comfortable with financial modeling and working with large amounts of data
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, including exceptional excel and PowerPoint skills to convey data and storylines
  • Demonstrated ability to drive large-scale planning processes that involve multiple stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • The desire to improve broken processes and make your own job easier over time
