Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced FP&A Manager. The FP&A Manager will play a crucial role in driving the financial planning, analysis, and decision-making processes to support the growth and profitability of Halborn. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity corporate finance and a proven track record of delivering insightful financial analysis and strategic recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis:

  • Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department heads to develop accurate and achievable financial plans.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, highlighting key performance metrics.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic decision-making, including scenario analysis and sensitivity analysis.

Strategic Financial Support:

  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic initiatives, business development, and operational improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate investment opportunities, new business ventures, and potential acquisitions.
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis to inform strategic planning and business development efforts.

Operational Analysis:

  • Monitor and analyze key operational metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Partner with team managers to understand operational challenges and provide financial guidance to optimize performance within their given budget.
  • Own the P&L reporting with regards to actuals to budget and be able to make suggestions for improvement.

Commission and Referral Reporting:

  • Generate accurate and timely reports related to commissions and referral partner activities.
  • Ensure all data is meticulously reviewed for accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to gather necessary information for reporting.
  • Ensure all Commission payments are sent timely and accurately, along with maintaining supporting documentation.

Reporting & Compliance:

  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, adhering to GAAP and internal reporting standards.
  • Support Accounting team with internal and external audit processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Assist in special projects as needed.  Being able to maintain accurate historical data is a must.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred not required.
  • 3+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related field, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in cybersecurity and ASC 606 revenue recognition.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence.
  • Willingness to be a team player and work toward the success of the finance department as a whole.
