Freelance Senior UX/UI Designer

The role 

As a Senior UX/UI Designer you will lead the creation of useful, distinctive, and cohesive experiences across the customer journey. Working with a wider, diverse creative team, you will be focused on the creation of world-class digital experiences for a variety of exciting brands. You will work in both consultative and executional capacities directly with client partners to solve problems from a user-centered perspective. You will translate customer insights and brand principles into creative digital concepts and development-ready UI. You will facilitate workshops with both internal and client teams, prototyping digital and omnichannel concepts.  

** This is a freelance role with the potential to transition into a permanent role. 

What we’re looking for 

• 5+ years of experience working in design environments, agency or in-house agency preferred 
• A portfolio demonstrating strategic, creative, and quality design solutions across both product/service design and brand storytelling 
• Experience envisioning and executing design solutions across websites and mobile apps 
• Excellent human-centered and visual design skills with strong attention to detail  
• Strong verbal and visual presentation skills that get across the process, approach, and impact of your design  
• Research experience preferred, creating testing briefs and plans and executing moderated and unmoderated user research. 
• Experience on definition, creation and maintenance of UI kits and design systems 
• Expert knowledge of visualization, wireframing & prototyping tools (e.g. Figma)  
• High proficiency of visual design software (Adobe CS)  
• Knowledge of the traditional web-stack HTML/CSS/JS
