Freelance Technical Content Curator (Hands-On Project-based Technical Assessments)

We are looking to add problems and challenges beyond the mundane Data Structures and Algorithms coding challenges to our vast real-world HackerRank Content Library that will be solved by millions of developers, and need your expertise in curating the industry’s best technical assessments. This position is demand-based, freelance, and remote. 

You will be responsible for building technical challenges and projects that assess a myriad of technical skills listed here and more— which we’ll reach out for depending on your expertise when the need arises. You’d be working on helping us scale our content library to handle over 100K concurrent challenge takers to support large global remote hiring events!

You will be working on:

• Creating innovative technical challenges / assessments which would meet the customer’s requirement and help assess a developer’s skill. These problem statements will encompass new, upcoming, and existing technologies (Machine Learning, Front-end, Back-end, Android, AWS, Networks and Security, etc)
• Creating project and application-based technical challenges / assessments around cutting-edge tech stacks and various skills (AWS, React, Ruby, etc.) across basic, intermediate, and advanced difficulty levels.
• Helping a fellow developer. You’ll be working on adding code stubs (partial codes) to the code editor of the problems to help candidates focus on writing the core logic rather than syntax.
• Devising technically accurate input and output along with constraints, tests, and edge cases.
• Sometimes printing a solution directly can help pass test-cases. You’ve to add suitable tests to judge a solution efficiently, and make sure that doesn’t happen.

Note: This position is for skills mentioned here and not for DSA coding questionnaires.

We are looking for:

• 4+ years of experience working in any relevant tech stack and programming languages ( Node, Angular, React, Puppet, AWS, Database, Android, C++, Python, Java, JavaScript, and so on). Refer here for the skills we are looking for. 
• Experience in creating and testing  technical challenges / assessments in an online environment.
• Ability to understand different technologies and programming languages and troubleshoot in real time. 
• Good understanding of various frameworks such as Django, Spring/Hibernate or React
• Available to contribute for 5 - 10 hrs/week creating challenges based on our needs.
• Excellent English writing and reading skills; good at speaking English
• Ready to go through a Technical curation Assessment during the hiring process.
